Shelf Life is a pilot for a webseries. It’s a simple love story that shows love how it is, messy, imperfectly beautiful, vulnerable and more honest than in the movies.
Hummus & Chips (2020)
Hummus & Chips is a comedy short film about a cultural encounter between an elderly British lady and her Arab neighbour during lockdown.
Clarissa was just a dream to work with. She solved every problem on the spot, including finding a replacement for our DP only days before the shoot depending on her wide network. I could trust her completely in every stage of the production and she is a gift to every project she works on.

The Apartments (2020)
The Apartments is a short film about two neighbours connecting through each other’s music which they can hear through the walls. Directed by Filippo Nannini, starring Lucy Aarden and Corin Silva.
Clarissa produced my graduation film “The Apartments” and she is the most reliable, organised and trustworthy person I know. As a charismatic leader she unites people with her enthusiasm. She always knows how to solve any problem or whom to call to get it solved and her passion for any project she takes on is truly remarkable.

Bye, Grandma! (2020)
Bye, Grandma! is a tragicomedy about a man who kidnaps a stranger from a nursery to present her to his family as the “new grandma”. This happens the morning of his own mother’s funeral.
Clarissa was extremely dedicated and her level of commitment and attention to detail is second to none. With her can-do attitude she made the impossible possible in every aspect of the production and I can’t wait to work with her again.
I still don’t know how, despite Covid, she was able to secure an elderly care home to film at in North London. The residents felt so safe, that a few even volunteered at extras.
